Sadly everything is gray. The clouds,the water, the sky, even my shirt. I sometimes miss the red brown dirt of Texas. Even when it is radiating back the heat of the sun. But I did what I had to. My school was going through something horrible, they were cuting alot of clubs...even Color Guard. The best thing that ever happen to me. So I told my mom I was moving to my dads. She knew why Color guard was my LIFE! I practiced day and night nothing was to hard for me. I could do left hand tosses right hand tosses. Even Rifle tosses were easy for me. Our color guard was the best and we were the only team besides Theatre to ever win a competition in our school. They should have cut golf or something stupid like baseball. But now I am in berlin Wisconsin where it is below freezing outside practicing in the cold...

Danielle painfully wrapped her sore wrist. "I told you not to go outside in this weather. Now look you hurt your wrist!" Her dad yelled motioning to the bruise. "Dad its okay. I just slipped and landed wrong." She said soothingly obviosly having worse injuries due to Color Guard. Danielle picked up her flag and walked up to her room. School was tomorrow and so was another day of *After School Band Camp*. She loved Band Camp here. Because here it wasn't 200 degrees and you weren't on a Skilit((School parking lot)). Back home Danielle couldn't stand the heat being anemic sucked for a Color Guard in Texas. But here it was always cold the only thing you had to worry about was freezing up or loosing a finger or two. Danielle practiced her dance for a few hours then got on the internet. She signed into her aol instant messanger and looked at all her band buddies. 'Fluteplayer232, or Codydadrummerman or Guard101Kayla.' Danielle's name was some what less bandish. It was "ColorDaniGuardBaby'^Ping^ "Hi everyone" She typed. "Hi" Fluteplayer232 replied. ^Ping^ "Hey Dani Girl!" Codydadrummer messaged. "Weekend was Killer slpped on Ice and bruised da wrist." She posted. ^Ping^ "Bummer" Codydadrummer posted. Danielle told the about the new routine then signed out. She took a shower then slipped down stairs to eat. Dad was making/ordering pizza. "Dad I can cook." She said openning the fridge. "No Dani I am the dad and I can provide for you. Besides I lie Pizza" He said. Danielle sighed rolling her eyes and pulled a soda from the fridge. Popping the lid and sucking off the foam. "So there is a football game this week. You comeing to watch and cheer us on?" She asked.
