Nah, I'm still there. Fooled ya, huh? No? Yea, I'm horrible.

Oh, that was awkward.
So, I'll go on to what I have to tell you....

Anyways!! It is the end of my freshman year forever, as of May 21st. Summer time, it brings unto the flip flops and what not. It makes me forget the date and wonder where one day begins and the other ends. If you have been keeping up with me, you should know that I was planning to tell the guy I like that I like him. I bet you're thinking at this point "Oh what?! You didn't say anything!? I am cross now! Thanks!" No. He knows. I told him May 18th.

You are probably thinking (Oh, I have a knack for reading your minds. XD) "Oh! Ashleigh! Good for you! : D" No! Don't praise me! I screwed up royally! There is no words to describe how epically I failed! D<
I was looking pretty good that day, new hair straightener (So that means 'mah hur' was doing pretty well that day), cute outfit that consisted of ultra TIGHT skinnys, and a happy go lucky attitude. (Of course, my happy go lucky attitude was destroyed after first period)

So, how it happened was I was letting him know from a note. I was going to give it to a friend who wouldn't go like "OMG MY FRAND LIEKS YOOOOOH!" and she would give it to him first period. First period, where he doesn't have his god awful friends around and Joy (yea, the friend's name is Joy) had him as a classmate. Joy came to me first break after 2nd period, smiling. I was freaking out. Just utterly flipped my lid. I said "Well??" she just laughed and said "He didn't do or say anything."

I kept this note short. Sweet, simple and to the point. I wrote like 10 lines basically saying "Hey. I won't be here next year so this my last chance to say I like you. I have since the end of 8th grade. Whatever. Bye."

So 2nd break, the break right before 7th period (the period I have him) I was basically giving an encore of the performance of 1st break. I go to 7th after that and I had a plan, it resonated off of the walls of my mind "STARE BLANKLY AHEAD! TWIT, DON'T LOOK AT HIM, DON'T LOOK AT HIS GENERAL DIRECTION, DON'T EVEN TILT YOUR HEAD AT HIM!"
I was a mess. I was sweating- - alot. My palms kept smearing the graphite on my paper, my heart was going so fast I thought it would stop, and my face was scorching hot.

Well, we were watching a movie on the Odyssey and we were allowed to move from our seats. Weeeeeeelll, his friend in there moves to the row next to mine and he sits right behind him. I didn't look. I was sticking faithfully to the plan. Weeeeeeeeeeeelllllllll, a few minutes into the thing, I hear from his direction "Hey, Ashleigh. Hey!"

You could have knocked me out with a feather. I could of died of asphyxiation right there. Right. then. and. there. I bet you're thinking "Yeeeeeess! ASHLEIGH! He wants to talk to you! Your ultimate chaaaaance! :]" Ah, I don't think I'll ever know his purpose for getting my attention because I ignored him. Flat out ignored him. I bit my lip and sat up a little straighter. I crashed and burned. I'm sure you're like "WHAT?! NO! YOU ARE STOOPID!! D<"

I wish I could've said something. I wish I would've just looked over. He didn't say my name again and as soon as the bell rang to leave I was gone. GONE. Like Speedy Gonzales. Gone.

It is incredibly likely I will never see him again. EVER. and I absolutely blew it. Ah well, my fault huh?
