I realized that no matter how hard i try to sleep right now, i just can't. My heart is more or less at ease knowing that i've made the right decision to let go of those people. Still, knowing that things could've gone different is partly tearing at me. Nonetheless, i will get over this little bump on the road. I promised myself that i will not let any attachments slow me down, no matter who it is. For too long have i sacrificed myself unwittingly for others. This will no longer happen..
Time for me to completely detach all ties with the ruthless people in my world. Praise me or not, it is my prerogative.
