silence soaks into my soul
sobering my senses and its often over intoxicating
and i try to relax but the devil just won't let go
the devil is in sweet control, as dreams are stolen
u know there is no honor among thieves so dreams are stolen with ease
and sometimes silence is the loudest noise
everyday my blue sky's are gray
can you see it in my eyes the misery dispare and dismay?
as i step back in to this world that i hate
the world i despise can u see it in my eyes?
a heart so hollow just an empty shell
no room for sorrow in this hell
as i dwell for salvation
my imagination takes control, reality now fantasy
fact is stranger than fiction
insane is sane in this mind game
no shame just a man filled with pain
my mind is just so deranged
can u feel my rage?
it drips out of me from a cage in the corner of my brain
a beast full of pestilence no room for the meek
this s**t isn't for the weak
so i set these words to claim my sanity and let my mind speak
