I'm posting a journal because it's been a while and i want to keep this going.
It's october 23rd and i stayed home today.
This week has been fun so far. I'm beating Kerri as usual. I've become popular in my science class. Everyone wants my attention. And dakota called me strange. "you're very strange.." he said as he was examining me.
idk why, but i'll remember that forever. I told a girl in her ear why i became homeschooled last year and she nearly jumped. Somehow the whole table knows. Some secret. It's cool though. Not only am i the only white kid, but im the only blonde kid who is fun and has a great personality. I come out as a puzzle and a mystery, when really it's just a girl with a lot of problems. I can kind of see how they could say i am a mystery.
I'm planning on going to the movies and the mall this saturday, i invited atleast thirty people i met from school, all people i want to become better friends with.
Maybe this way we could get to know eachother better and our last memories won't only be of us at school. I want to see the movie Where the wild things are, that's the only new movie i know about. Plus i really want to see it so yeah. I asked my friend Jeremy if he wanted to join me to see it and he was like "yeah." and i asked him for his phone number but he said he didn't have one. ;___;
Then he was like "HEY MS. KINGHAM WANNA COME?" "where?" "with us to the movies!" "ohh. when?"
"saturday."
"what're you going to see? and that's too bad, i'm going sunday with my son for his birthday." then they both turned to me
and i was like
eek
so i started singing
"l o .. v e ... that's where you'll find me.."
then the teacher started laughing!
"i have the sound track for that! I just bought it for my son, want a copy?"
"uhhhmm, sure?"
the whole class was facing me now.
lol
soooooo ya. that's what happened in my language class. She gave me a cd towards the end of the period. I was going to give her hand sanitizer because i was so happy that she not only gave me something, which was very thoughtful of her, but she boosted my reputation, and that is priceless!
So i was going to give her a hand sanitizer for her class, perfect teacher gift, lol and i ended up being absent yesterday and today because my belly was cramping. and idkkk emo
Another day in my language arts class (when we were learning about poems and the different types.. ect.):
"Okay class! Thursday will be open mike night at Barnes and Nobles for poetry readers. So if you want to come and read a poem, you should, because all of Odyssey middle will be there! And it would be a fun way to read your poems."

Then i raised my hand.
"Ms. Kingham, i have a really great poem that i made, but i'm afraid someone might steal it.. and ya.."
"oh, well we can always copy it! We can make a lot of copys--- so you'll never have to loose it."
i was confused.
so i just nodded like i understood then looked down.
"mhm" ms kingham said
Then a moment later dakota bursts in
"But I think what Rachel's talking about it is-- that she's afraid someone might take her poem."
"is that what you meant rachel?" ms.kingham said
"mhm. I want t read it, but i don't want anyone to say it's theirs and that they made it."

and that was that
then she said "ohhhh. well uh, you can always get it published."

and that was that
then at lunch, i was on the line and i saw dakota ,so i walked over to him on line and we were talking.
me: "so.."
dakota: "what're you going to eat for lunch?"
me: "food? i don't know. whatever there is really.. "
Dakota: "oh."
me: "what about you?"
dakota: "food."

then we moved up a little as the line moved up..
dakota: "i write poems too."
me: "you do?" eek
dakota: "yeah"
me: "wow, that's.. great. xd "
and then i saw this guy i met at hottopic sitting at a table eating.
so i'm like
me: "hurry let's stare at him!"
so i pointed at him and started looking, waiting for him to turn around and be like, "WTF!!!!"
but that didn't happen yet..
dakota: "why are you like that?"
me: "like what? Oh, hah, ya that guy. I met him at hottopic. He thinks i'm stalking him. He's a real weirdo!"
dakota: "Like that!"
then he points at me like i just did a trick or something.
me: "like what?"
dakota: everything you do.... it's so, different."
me: "ummmm .. xd
uh, okay then. this is just how i am. so yeah..."
then we were both laughing and the line moved up...
I started walking and the teacher told him to stop, because it only takes a certain amount of students per time.
so i'm walking with the group ahead and i look back and start laughing that he got stopped by the teacher and he's just looking at me

oh, and here's another time with Dakota:
I give Kyle my hamburger at lunch because i wasn't really that hungry and i was going to eat my applesauce then dakota bursts in..
dakota:"no give it back. Kyle thats her sandwhiches. mad "
me: "i gave it to him. confused "
kyle: gonk gonk
me: "don't worry Dakota i gave this to him. i'm not that hungry anyways."
dakota: "he's just using you."
me: "wtf? You make it seem like the worlds out to get you and you have to constantly be aware of everything and everyone. don't worry Dakota. Not everyone is evil. .. "
AND THAT WAS MY LIFE LESSON. 4laugh
i taught someone something. mwahah
lol
then he started eating and we just talked about useless stuff that only made me laugh...

No, not all my friends are guys, this is just the periods i have with Dakota, which have my 'guy' friends in it.

In science:
in tables of four
kaylas left in front of me
i'm left next to her
patricias on the right of kayla
blahblah is on my left (forgot her name.) sweatdrop

anyways..
class starts.
Ms. Murray says, "class, get out your warmup books and start your warm up! Warm ups on the board..."

So we all start and finnish.
kayla: "it's A."
so I just mark A, looking at the question, i figured it was right.
We go over it and then the teacher tells us that it was A. woohooo
Kayla hands me a paper.
kayla: "hey"
me: "hi."
i write back
kayla: "what music do you like?"
me: "msi."
kayla: "what?"
me: "mindless self indulgence"
kayla: "your eyes are black."
me: "they are?! O__O"
kayla: "ya. why are they black?"
me: "idk. i didn't even know they were black."
kayla: "they are."
me: "do you have a myspace?"
kayla: "yeessirrr"
me: "Kay. Rachel95boca@hotmail.com n___n"
kayla: "kkkkkkk."
msmurray: "girls, will you please be quiet over at that table?"
then reality hits in.
she's talking about us.
so i sit up in my chair and look at where we are. we're in the book going over our embedded assesment grades. i was on the wrong page.
I hurry and flip back to the right page. X .. wrong.
X again, wrong.
The girl next to me asks,
blahblah: "what was question 30?"
me: "oh, i don't know." i say glancing over at my unmarked paper a few questions back when i was still out-of-it.
Class is over very fast.
And at the last five minutes of class, i had my fame.
Danielle asks me from across the class.
danielle: "rachel--- what do you represent today?"
me: "huh?"
danielle: "your a gangster. remember?"
then i start laughing. because i really want to be a gangster in real life.
me: "oh yeah! I represent ummm..." i look down
me: "I DON'T KNOW YET." lol
danielle: "turtle knecks!"
me: "oh, oh, oh yeah! cuz i'm wearing a turtle kneck, ha ha!!"
Then we both start laughing. And ms. murray calls me up.
so while i'm in line to get to her, this guy anthony shouts from MY seat, across the room.
Anthony: "hey Rachel!"
i look over.
Anthony: "I'm in your desk, i'm in your seat! mwahahaha!"
Then i give him a dirty funny look like "OMG GRRRR. stare "
"ugh!" I say. Because earlier then that the teacher moved our desks and i was supposed to sit where he was sitting in the front. I sit in the front in all of my classes, except for, well now, that one.
Ms. Murray marks my grade. "68%"
I frown. oh man!... gonk
I take my paper and get back to my desk.
blahblah: "What school did you go to last year?"
me: "I was homeschooled."
blahblah: "you were homeschooled? Why?"
still trying to focus on everything that was happening i wrote down on my paper.
"kill me."
then i turned it into a "kill myself" then a
"i tried killing myself."
then i quickly took my pen and red pen and drew over it. then her mouth opened wide.
blahblah: "why?!"
me: "don't tell anybody."
blahblah: "why did you try killing yourself?"
she whispered quietly.
me: "because uh.. idk. don't tell anyone, i didn't even want to tell you and i did. smile "
blahblah: "who else did you tell?"
I thought for a second.
me:"you. your first.. and last. don't tell anyone. Faith asked before why, but i didn't tell her. please don't. think is like, something serious."
Then i go to put my book away and come back to the table. (table of four.)
And Kayla's staring at me all serious.
Her eyes flashing back and forth at my eyes as if she completely understood me.
kayla: "why?"
i was confused.
me: "why what?"
blahblah: "why did you try to kill yourself?"
Completely annoyed i ignored her question.
i can't believe, i told her not to tell anyone.
This person, who introduced herself at the beginning of the year to me, a year older then everyone, such as myself, the only honest looking fella in the room, and kayla already knows.
I put my hand on my ears and i started getting disey.
my eyes looking back and forth all around everywhere i can to ignore everything....
then all of a sudden kerri shouts out, trying to get into MY conversation.
kerri: "OMG, RACHEL, WILL YOU PLEASE STOP TALKING?"
I look up at her.
me: "sorry."
I try to drown out the voices.
kayla: "god kerri, stop being such a b***h."
then she turned around to look at me once more.
I smiled then looked away.
Dakota and jeremy were both looking at me.
Same for josh, anthony, danielle and kaitlyn.
I get up because Kaitlyn won't stop calling me then rush over to her desk.
kaitlyn: "rachel!"
me: "yes?"
kaitlyn: "you were talking to me on myspace."
I could feel everyone looking at me. i was so disey at this point.
me: "yeah?"
kaitlyn: "what was it you wanted to tell me?"
me: "oh, this weekend..."
ms.murray: "everyone take a seat! I will not dismiss you until your sitting!"
So i sat down.
Put my head to the desk and then the bell rang.
I put my stuff away and as usual, was last to exit the class doors.

thats how school is going so far.
