umm .. where to start .. ~? my name's [EDIT], i’m fourteen, and a freshman in high school. i’m 5'4 and am pretty average; not anorexic but not chubby. i have very light skin and black hair with side swept bangs. my favorite colors are purple and pink, and i don't really like to get a lot of attention. i'm also very shy .. so no really flashy stuff, haha. my favorite singers are lily allen, kate nash, nevershoutnever!, owl city, a fine frenzy .. and more, but that's all i can think of. xD


I left out the pictures and name for privacy of the user. I like shopping for subdued colors because it's easier to find things but since there are so many options it makes it really difficult to decide. I guess we'll start from the top. I found this jacket that is really cute and unique. I haven't seen very many toggle jackets in my day that aren't yellow and being worn by fisherman. Since the user likes purple and pink I was looking for something that had one of those two colors but wasn't too bright becase bright draws attention even if it's a simple design. I found this button-up sweater that has purple in it and it has horizontal stripes which I think look totally awesome on the user. It can be worn over top of pretty much anything since the majority of it is black. Even though it has other colors in it I wouldn't worry too much about making sure it coordinates with the colors in your top. It works just as well with jeans as it does with a skirt or something like that.

Speaking of skirts, check this out: Lace Illusions skirt. It's cute and it has a design that might stand out a little bit but I don't think it will really. I figured a nice skirt would a welcome change of pace to jeans.

Now back to tops. I'm jumping all over the place. I really like this top and the style of shirt is very popular around where I live. If it's common where you are too then you don't have to worry about standing out because everyone will have it. If it's not too common then of course you'll get noticed just because of the novelty. For something that's completely mundane and there's absolutely no way anyone will look at you twice, try this purple tube dress. It's delightfully boring but it's tight enough to accentuate any curves you may have.

Shoes! I figured flats were more your type than jeans so I picked out these: Payless Audrey Flats they come in other colors than purple but I thought they were hella cute without being gaudy.
