[[CHAPTER 5]]

The reason for taking so long...because I'm lazy! XD

Birds were chirping and the sun’s light was coming through the window of the girls’ bedroom as they peacefully slept. It was surly going to be a beautiful day!

But, down stairs of the house, something, or rather someone was carefully crawling through a window that leads to the kitchen. Then two more figures crawled through as well!

“Where are the girls?”
One of them asks softly, as if someone could hear them.

“Let’s try up stairs.”
The other two replies in unison.

Carefully and quietly the three figures walk up the stairs and check every room.
When they reached one door, they could hear the girls softly breathing and they grin to each other and slowly walk into the room seeing them curled up in their beds.

The first figure that came through the window nodded their head to the other two figure and they took position next to the girls. The two figures reach into their pockets and pulled out…a hand gun!
With a finger on the trigger, they place their guns in front of the poor girls’ faces. The two figures turn their heads back to the first figure, waiting for the signal. That first figure takes a deep breath and…

“TIME TO GET UP, SLEEPY HEADS! <3”

The two figures quickly shoot water into the girls’ faces from their water guns!
The girls scream at the sudden out burst and water that woke them up and without thinking, the girls kick their legs out, hitting the two figures’ hands, causing them to drop the guns! Then they quickly jump at them and raise a fist, ready to hit!

But quickly the first figure grabbed their fists.

“Is this how you two greet your friends in the morning?”

Cloud was smiling down at the girls as he help them stand, allowing the other two figures, Roxas and Ven, to also stand.

“How we greet?!”
Mel shouts.

“How about the way you guys wake up friends?!”
Desi yells after.

Ven grins.
“No, not friends.”

“Just you two!”
Roxas and Ven were laughing.

“Don’t worry,” Cloud said, “it just means your special!”
He then winks at them with a smile.

The girls blush a bit and quickly pushed them out of the room, telling them that they needed to get ready.

The girls, along with the Strife family, were walking down a few streets heading to the BBQ with Cloud leading the way and while Roxas tell the girls of who is all to be there.

“Its going to be a big party! You two are going to love it! Axel and Reno will be there! So will Ed, Al, the silver triplets and Sephiroth, Yuffie, Genesis, Namine, Sora, Riku and Zexion…! I forgot who else…”
Roxas’ little rant stopped short thanks to his forgetfulness, and he scratches the back of his head in embarrassment. The girls giggle at him causing him to blush. Cute!

Ven, rolling his eyes at his brother, spoke up.
“Sadly, I remember three people on the list.”

“Who are they?”
Mel asks.

Ven’s face looked upset and said,
“Clara, Larxene, and Kairi…”
He shudders after he said their names.

Mel and Desi frown.
“Why were they invited?”

Cloud, over hearing their conversation, answers the girls.
“Riza has a good heart and invited them, though, one screw up and she will get rid of them faster than they could muster an apology.”

“Oh! Then let’s hope that happens!”
Mel and Desi tilt their heads and try to imagine what would happen.

The boys stare at the girls daydreaming faces and then join them in the imagination of the ‘Queen’ and the ‘Princesses’ getting kicked out.

“What the hell are guys doing?”
Axel and Reno were standing in front of the group, causing them to stop, and both had the same questioning looks on their faces, but then they bust out laughing.

“Your faces…!”
Reno was holding his side.

“…looked like a fish gasping for water!”
Axel finishes the sentence, while too holding his side.

The girls blush brightly while Ven and Roxas laugh in embarrassment. Cloud just smiles.

When the group reaches the hostess’s house for the BBQ, Desi and Mel noticed a familiar short black haired boy, who was walking back and forth in front of the door.

Axel also happened to also notice and smirk.
“Roy, you don’t know how to ring a doorbell?”

Reno joins in.
“Or is it that you don’t know how to talk to your love?”

Roy jumps at their voices and look to see the group.
“She is not my love!”

Axel shakes his head and pushes him to the door, with everyone else behind them and rings the doorbell.
Footsteps could be heard and Roy was getting nervous! Axel and Reno laugh slightly at Roy as the door opens, revealing a blonde and brown eyes girl smiling at them.

“Roy! Axel and Reno! Glad to see that you guys could come! You too, Strife family!”
She ushers them in and as the girl follow inside, she finally noticed them.

“Oh! Who are you two?”

“I’m Melinda, but you can call me Mel!”
Mel smiles and shakes her hand.

“I’m Desiree, and you can call me Desi!”
Desi also shakes her hand.

“Nice to meet you two! I’m Riza!”
She smiles yet again and then leads them to the back porch.

There, the girls saw everyone that they knew along with some new people.
Cloud quickly saw his group of friends and quickly joins them. Ven, Roxas, Reno, and Axel did the same, leaving the girls alone.

Desi frowns at the fact that they were ditched.
“Now what?”

Mel looks around seeing the different groups around the yard, trying to decide which one to join. So far each group had either one or more new people in it, meaning that they would eventually have to meet them.
“I guess just meet the new kids.”

Luckily the girls saw Cloud waving them to come over where he, Yuffie, Vincent, Genesis, and three other guys were at. So the girls smile and walked over, glad to see that some peopled wanted to talk to them. When they reached the group they noticed that two of them looked almost alike, with their black hair and eyes, but one of them had longer hair and was a bit taller.
The other guy had short black hair, sunglasses and a red cloak that looked a bit warm to be wearing.

Cloud grins at the girls curious faces as they studied the new people.
“Mel, Desi. I would like you to meet some of my closest friends; Zack, Angeal, and Auron!”

The girls smile at them as a hello.

“They sure are beautiful!”
Zack winks at them, earning blushes from the girls.

“Little brother, you sure are a flirt, but you are right. They look angelic.”
Angeal took each of the girl’s hand and gave a kiss atop of them.
Once again, the girls blush and add in a giggle at the cheesiness.

Auron chuckles at them.
“Like you should talk, Angeal.”
Auron smiles at the girls.

“Ok! We’re done with the greetings, so now can we get back to the subject?”
Yuffie seamed to be very excided for something.

“What were you guys talking about?”
Desi asked with curiosity.

Vincent looks at the girls and explains.
“The school’s Struggle Team training that begins next week. Anyone can join for the training, but only a few can get on the team.”

The girls looked confused.
“What is the ’Struggle Team’?”
Mel asks.

“You don’t know what a Struggle Team is?!”
Yuffie yells, earning some head turns from other people.
“A Struggle Team is made up of skilled fighters in any form and art and competes with other teams! OH! The teams get to…? Hmph!”

Zack quickly covers Yuffie’s mouth and sighs with relief, as did the others.
“Finally. She was starting yell and rant at the same time.”

Angeal chuckles and continues for Yuffie.
“Now what Yuffie was saying, the team fight on a virtual stage with a time limit where, as an example, if you were to land a few combo hits, blue and green orbs will fall off your opponent. Blue for special abilities, like elements, and green for their hit points.”

Auron then steps in.
“You collect the orbs as quickly as you can before your opponent gets them and refills and while dodging their attempts at stopping you. While collecting them, you get points if your blue and green is full or they are used to refill. Who ever has the least HP by the end of the time limit, loses. Same goes if all HP is gone before time.”

“Wow! Sounds fun and difficult all at the same time!”
The girls were surprise to hear that such an event exists.

Yuffie, who was struggling to get out of Zack’s grip the whole time, finally breaks free, and jumps in front of the girls.
“You two should join up! It would be nice to have more than two girls on the team!”

Mel’s and Desi’s faces changed to panic.
“Umm, well…uh…”

Suddenly an arm when around each of the girls waists and pulls them back. The girls, shocked by this, looks up to see…Axel!

“My gal’s in a Struggle? I don’t think so! These beauties don’t need that!”
Axel was smiling from ear to ear, as he started to walk away, bringing the girls with him.

“They’re not yours, Axel!”
The girls could hear a bit of jealousy in Zack’s voice.
