Story/Personality: Edge Desanges, in short, is immortal.

He has lost count of the years, but it has been a few millennia since his shift from mortal to immortal. As such, his personality is cyclical. In the current era, he is self-confident, arrogant, and doesn't take anything very seriously with the exception of the safety of his sister Nyoko. He very much enjoys himself and takes a great amount of pride in everything he does - he knows he's awesome. In other times, he has also been very serious and dark, sometimes even depressed. Right now, however, he is a world-famous celebrity whose fame comes from his myriad talents. Other people think he's just exceptional and multi-talented, though the truth is that with several thousand years under his belt, he's had a lot of time to perfect things. He is honest, though tactless, and has a fondness for bad jokes and lame puns.

Other than his immortality, Edge doesn't have any supernatural powers or abilities. He is a master of several forms of martial arts, however, as well as the use of many Japanese weapons, all learned during decades of absolute, mind-boggling boredom. He's incredibly quick and agile, as well as ambidextrous, but he lets his emotions get in the way most of the time. He typically wields twin knives that grow into full-sized katanas at his will, though this takes concentration and a bit of energy to achieve. The same goes for reducing them back to knife-size, as well. As such, he tries not to use the power too frivolously, since it will exhaust him.

Edge is self-confident to a fault, and it shows in his expression and stance. He usually sports a smirk or grin, be it one of arrogance or sarcasm. He likes giving people a stare with one eyebrow raised as if he is unimpressed with them, and generally doesn't give a damn what people think of him. He tends to have a short fuse and dismisses those that he doesn't feel worthy of his attention. The only person capable of putting him in his place is Nyoko. Otherwise, he often seems to think that he is a god.

There are two people he cares about more than the world itself: himself, and his sister.

Wardrobe: Fitted short-sleeved or sleeveless t-shirts and worn jeans are his typical style. He's that guy who will buy pre-stressed jeans for ludicrous amounts of money just because he can. He has been known to wear tight clothing on occasion, such as leather pants and the like. His favorite t-shirt is emblazoned with the word "Omnisexual" in decorative text.


MUST HAVES:
-Bone and leather necklace; this crude piece of jewelry was made for him by Nyoko when they were children. Ever since she died the first time due to what he feels is his own negligence, he hasn't taken it off for even a moment.
-Scar along right cheekbone; Edge was shot in the face in the late 1800's, and being such a grievous wound, it healed leaving a huge scar. For a time, he had also lost his right eye, but it has since regrown.
