Abandoned by her parents at a young age, Koryn is paranoid and finds it difficult to trust others. Even so, she longs for a friend, but sometimes she mistakes popularity for actual friendship.

Koryn is an orphan, though not through any family tragedy. Instead, when her mutant powers manifested at the tender age of five years old, her parents were distraught. After only a year of struggling with their daughter's "affliction", Koryn's parents left her on the doorstep of an orphanage with not a single possession or flicker of hope.

Understanding even then that her power was a curse rather than a blessing, and that it was the reason for her abandonment, Koryn went about repressing and hiding her mutant gene. She grew up "normal"; that is, as if she were a normal human. However, due to crippling trust issues and a sense of paranoia, Koryn rarely socialized and had no real friends. Whether they stayed away from her due to an innate sense that she was different or the simple fact that she didn't allow herself to get close to anyone, Koryn grew up lonely and shy. To keep herself busy, she took great interest in dancing, archery, gossip, and fashion. As she grew older, she was often seen hooked up to a pair of headphones, either dancing or reading the latest fashion or celebrity gossip magazines, or outside at the facility's tiny but varied outdoor athletics area.

When she was 17, Koryn was picked up by the Xavier Institute, having been tracked down by Cerebro. She felt a wave of both sickening terror and fluttering excitement. She may have just been outed to the entire orphanage - the place she had lived exclusively for the past eleven years - but at least she wouldn't have to stay there anymore. She packed up what little she owned and was flown out to New York, where she would be placed in a dorm room at the Institute and enrolled in the local high school.

Koryn has broken out of her shell ever-so-slightly ever since then, having been forced into a room with two much more outgoing mutants, both of whom made her socialize and who, being mutants themselves, had no judgment against her. She began to meet and take pleasure in the company of many of the other mutants, as well as some of the local population. However, she remains paranoid and continues to have trust issues, and fears that the people she has come to call "friends" will someday abandon her just like her parents did. She still gets nervous meeting new people or going out with the ones she knows, and is still very shy and quiet around everyone. She prefers to stay in her room and read magazines or dance in front of a mirror than go out on the town.

Koryn has had a major crush on a fellow mutant, Pietro Maximoff, AKA Quicksilver, ever since she saw him. However, she has only admired him from afar and has never approached him, terrified that he would shoot her down and make her feel stupid (and this is a valid fear). However, when she met human Caleb Leary one night at Applebee's (where he works as a waiter), she began to develop feelings for him, instead. Luckily for her, Caleb also felt the same way about Koryn, and eventually he asked her out. They have been dating ever since. Caleb is much more outgoing than Koryn, and often drags her out to parties or clubs, where they will dance together until curfew (or even later).

Caleb, Renee, and Asuka are Koryn's closest and best friends, and the first three people she has ever began to truly trust.


Mutant Power: Koryn's mutant power is that of gravity manipulation. While she usually just uses it to perform slight telekinesis and make herself float, she is in actuality an Omega level mutant. She has no idea the true potential of her power. She has, of course, not been informed that she could channel the entirety of the universe's gravity into a single point and effectively destroy all of existence, even creating a new Big Bang. Instead, she has been trained to use her power for more battle-friendly things, like disabling an enemy by making them too heavy to move, or deflecting projectiles by making them too light or heavy to stay on course. Personally, however, Koryn's favorite application of her power is simply to make herself float.

Koryn goes by the alias G-Factor when in uniform.

Wardrobe: Koryn may be shy and self-conscious concerning her power and her personality, but she is quite confident in her looks. She wears fitted shirts, baggy/raver pants, and comfortable sneakers, and houses a rather large number of outfits despite having lived in an orphanage all her life. Keep it flattering and fashionable without being too flashy.

MUST HAVES:
- Her hairstyle. Koryn's main unique physical feature is her distinctive hairstyle and blond streaks.
- Fashion. She rarely steps out of her little fashion niche, so a tight shirt and baggy pants are pretty much where she likes to be. It's possible to step out of the box a little but let me know ahead of time to see if she'd wear a certain outfit.
