The end of school really doesn't feel like the end of school. I was almost late to school on Monday, although there was technically no such thing as being late since I could have gone in at any time, but I didn't want to miss seeing people during homeroom. I would have been late since the 39 took like 45 minutes to come. D: These route changes are of no help to me. T.T But thankfully, Amma's friend whose a cab driver was around and gave me a ride. I did end up missing everyone during homeroom though, or maybe I was early and they missed me? It took forever to get in since everyone was crowding at the doors when they opened them.
Afterwards, I called Janie and met her at the train station. And I got her to come over, since we both lacked better things to do. xD It was fun playing old Poke'mon games again and Tales of Symphonia and whatnot, and piano. xD Janie taught me how to play "sneaky". xD <3
Yesterday was also pretty nice. I went to see Iron Man 2 with Michellee. I haven't seen her in so long. :3 She got into the colleges she wanted, NYU and Columbia, and she's decided to go to NYU. I can't believe I didn't realize that she went to Jasdeep's school all this time. xD I wonder if Jasdeep knows her. Small world, right? Then again, she is the valedictorian so people probably recognize her anyway. Before we went to the theater, we went to Barnes and Nobles! And right next to it there was a Build-A-Bear's! I am so going to make my mom come with me next time and build a rabbit with me! Muahaha. Sadly, there didn't seem to be any frogs. The Barnes and Nobles on 46th isn't as big as the one at Union Square, but the children's section was still nice so it was good enough for me. And across the street from there, there was this really amazing sushi place called Monster Sushi! I had a Jan roll(salmon) and California rolls but sadly I couldn't convince Michellee to try the sushi. xD She did try the chopsticks though. xD It was so restaurant like too. We didn't have to go up and order or go up and pay, the waiters and waitresses came to us for that. And then to pay, they said just leave the money on the table and go. So trusting and professional. :3 I am definitely taking Karen there one day soon!
The movie itself was quite awesome. Robert Downey was amazing. There is something very House-like about him. xD <3 Ah afterwards, we went and got Michellee juice and then we left. My piano teacher was coming, so I had to get home before 7. Hm. And so I did. I'm really slacking on Chopin's Op. 64 No. 2. >///< I wonder if I'm just a sucker for Debussy? I like Arabesque a lot. Although honestly, after listening to recordings, the speed that my teacher played it at is much more pleasing than the original. The original is too fast in my opinion. D: Hm well. I guess I can play however I like anyway.
I wrote a lot to Karen yesterday in our exchange journal. So I'm keeping up with my goal that I said in English. On the Friday before the last day of school, Ms. Sapozhnikov had everyone say one goal of their's for the summer. :3 Karen's goal was to finish my epic birthday present. And mine was to keep writing to her. xD <3
I haven't done much today though. Hm. What to do. Study Physics? Or watch more Don't Hesitate! It's a really good Korean Drama. There are 98 episodes though. xD But I'm already up to 88. It's been like a week. @_@ But I can do it! It's really captivating. And not depressing. Bad things happen at first, sure. But then the main character Soo Hyun decides to get revenge. And her evil side is SO epic. She makes me love that drama. xD
Ah, I need to get a new memory card for the Gamecube too. Emran filled the remaining slots with Madden. @_@ Hmph. I also must get Twilight Princess! But first I need to do something that will make me mentally merit myself worthy of these things. xD Like studying. T.T
Hm. Maybe I should play Majora's Mask over? That and piano, all day. xD There isn't much left to today though. I woke up at 1 or 2pm ish. Earlier than usual, but still. I read manga at first. I wonder why I keep reading Hwang Mi Ri's stuff when I know how it's going to turn out! I reread all of Saesang Bring It On today. xD It was good but not very motivating.
Speaking of unmotivating things, I have a dentist's appointment on Friday! The first in my life.
