I just finished making that origami rat! Finally. I will definitely use bigger paper next time, which I'll get next time I go to Kinokuniya. I think I'll go on the same day I go to Build-A-Bear's. xD <3
Today was just about as unproductive as yesterday. I didn't study for Physics SATIIs at all today. I woke up at around 2pm I think and I worked on the rat and listened to music until it was time to go to the Wave Hill parent meeting thing. As usual, my dad made us late and when we got there, the presentation was almost over. It wasn't particularly interesting. I do feel a little special inside though since I did similar work last summer, so I already know how to do all of the work. :] Except for trailwork. That, I haven't quite touched upon before. I met Yuna and her mom after the presentation and question/answer session and we hung out for a bit while my parents had coffee and snacks. I didn't see Andrea today but I suppose her parents were somewhere in the little crowd. Actually, when my dad got lost again around the entrances, he asked this random lady and it turned out she was there for the same thing although she didn't quite know the way either, so hitched a ride with us. Her son Max apparently is an intern too, but he didn't come. This is his second year, and he goes to American Studies. Hm, that makes 3 people I know of from American Studies and 2 from Bronx Science aside from myself.
I thought that the college course on Mondays at Lehman would end at 3pm like regular work days, but it seems it ends at 5pm because of lab sessions, so Mondays are 8 hours while Tues.-Fri. are 6 hours. Sadly that means I can't hang out with Karen afterwards. :[ I suppose I can always come early and meet her since we both start at around 9am. But that really is a little disappointing.
After we left, we went to Panera in Co-op and I had a tuna sandwich and apple juice. :] So I'm satisfied. But now I don't have much to do. I should have stopped by GameStop and gotten another memory card. xD No videogames for now I guess. Except maybe Zelda on N64 or something where I already have an existing file.
Hm. I also need to study C#. @_@ I learned a little bit about C++ by helping Michael with his text based game thing, but I'm still rather confuzzled as to what pointers are since it's not object oriented. @_@ As far as I can comprehend, they point to memory locations, like objects. So the way I see it, they're something like variables, but not quite? So confuzzling. @_@
I think I'll go read some manga now.
