A figure clothed in black runs through a forest somewhere in England. A number of men pursue the figure though the forest. The figure leaps over a fallen tree and their foot sinks into the ground and they fall though the ground into an underground chamber. The figure coughs and removes their mask to reveal a rather pale feminine face. Her dark eyes were cold and steely and her dark hair was messy and all over the place. It made her look like a dust mop.
She freezes in place as she hears numerous people run passed above her. None of them had fallen into the hole. She must have hit just the right spot. She spit and climbs to her feet. She retrieves her bag from a few feet away. She checks to make sure her prize was still secure. She already had a buyer lined up for this one and she never disappointed.
She looks around the chamber. It was old and covered in dust and cobwebs. The pillars holding up the roof look brittle and it was no wonder the roof gave way. Aside from where she fell through there was one other spot that sun was shining through.
It was the glint of gold that caught her attention first. She steps over to the dusty pedestal. On it was an old skeleton, the rags that hung off it looks to have been extravagant garbs back when they were new. The glint of gold was a golden medallion on top of the skeleton’s chest cavity. She looks closer at the medallion. The medallion was of two snakes entwined. The two snakes together formed a perfect circle. The snakes’ eyes were some kind of jewels. It looked like it could be worth a lot of money.
She jumps when she hears something move behind her. She spins around and looks around wildly. There was nothing in sight. She turns back to the medallion and removed it from the skeleton and stashes it in her bag.
She hears something again and spins around and sees two men jump down into the chamber. They smirk. “We found you.” One of them says.
“Now hand over the goods.” The other one says
“Before the cops find you too, preferably.” The first one says.
She looks around for a weapon or a way out when the men yell. She looks back at them to see a huge snake gobble up one and turns to the other. The other one tries to run but the snake pierces him with its fangs and proceeds to gobble him up too. She scrambles to find a way out as the snake turns on her. She stands up on the pedestal with the skeleton and leaps for an opening in the roof. The snake uses its tail to smack her down and she lands hard on her side. She clutched her side has she finds a sharp stone to use has a weapon. She manages to duck behind the pedestal has the snake comes after her. It sniffs for her its tongue. It turns to the pedestal when its head reaches her she used the sharp stone and rams it through the snake’s eye. It roars in pain and it body slams into the walls of the chamber.
She leaps over the pedestal only to be trapped by the snake‘s body. The snake slithers so its head is facing her. She leans back away from the snake as it opens its jaws. A boney hand grabs her and prohibits her from getting away. She shuts her eyes and braces herself for the worst.
