Well, a friend of mine couldn't make it to the big magic thing I'll be holding tomorrow, so he dropped by today.
Needless to say, study was not me a lot.

We played sealed deck and casual, with me winning the sealed in a decisive manner (2-0) and us trying out creepy homebrews for casual.

Sealed deck was kinda Dimir (black-blue) vs Selesnya (green -white).
My bombs included Avatar of Woe (which won me game 1) and Mindleech Mass. Special mention goes to the strangely useful False Demise, which won me game 2.
His deck was straight up green-white first, then sideboarded black in.
Bombs: Birds of Paradise, Ender Shakar, Loxodon hierarch, Savage Thallid.

Game 1 was one-sided. I was manaflooded until I drew into the avatar of woe, played it and dominated the match.
It was a very close strung-game 2 that saw me stealing a veteran armorer with False Demise, replay it on Ender, ping with a Fledeling Mawcor for the wins.
Very exciting game anyway. It lasted an easy 45 minutes.
Until the last 5, neither of us really had the upper hand. I like my luck at times ^^.

During the casual gaming, he knocked over a glass of beer...which kinda sucked for him because it fell in the middle of his favourite new cards. >_<
s**t happens.

Ohh, and I finally got 'round to asking people about New Year's Eve. Looks like it'll be a barrel of laughs again. And with that I mean I'll be in outpost for a long long time. ^_^.
Meh, social isolation? Who cares.
Eventually I'll be picked up there by the gorgeous Lynn (I will also never hear the end of that) and we'll head to Chris (Moondroplet)'s place to watch the fireworks. Then afterwards, we'll be too smashed to care about stuff and we'll probably head back (all of us) to Lynn's place to watch a small bonfire or something. Alcohol! Yay!

Did I mention I might be in slight trouble for the exams?
