Hello all, its me again. Man this happened about 2 weeks or so ago, but i still have the memories in my head, so better type 'em while their still some-what fresh in my mind!
Anyway, we had Spirit Week at school, now called 'Unity Week' (i know, kinda corny) and it was pretty good i guess. But before that, i would like to talk about what happened the week before when i showed some guests from japan around school, then afterward i will talk about my new friend and this cool place at school he showed me on friday!
so, on with the episode! (wow, that sounded like something out of the beginning of an anime)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Showing Japanese Students Around School I volenteered to do this for two days in a row, on Monday and Tuesday. They were all 11th graders from a highschool somewhere in japan (sorry! cant say where!) Monday I got this KAWAII TO ATSUI guy. (that meant 'cute and hot' ///^///^///). His names Daisuke (like from DNAngel) and he is cute, tall, a soccer-jock, sweet, and has a nice smile. He i also now my e-mail pal. (YAY!!!) Tuesday i showed this girl named Yuki around. Shes tiny and petite, like a doll and super sweet. I sent her an e mail too, but no reply yet... oh well! I'm sure she will reply soon! Oh! one more thing is we exchanged gifts! I made little suviner goodie bags for them with cookies, little packs of macademia nuts, and hawaiian key chains and cell phone straps. I also gave each of them a lei. Just a little welcome present ^^. For their Omiyagae (did i spell that right?), omiyagae is a gift you bring for someone when you visit their house, or in this case, school. Daisuke gave me a pack of fruit flavored gummi candies that look like a tree (its so pretty i cant eat it!!!), a bag of grape flavored hard candy, and a pack of gum called 'Watering Kiss Mints' from japan! Yuki gave me a yellow and blue friendship bracelet she made herself and a paper folding fan!!! I TOTALLY LOVE MY PRESENTS!!! heart anyway, thats about it. For my friend i know in real life: if you want i can e mail you pics so you can see how cute daisuke is. Well, hes cute to me (and 3 other girls at school) anyway.
SPIRIT/UNITY WEEK Monday: School Shirt Day Meh, sorta boring. We were allowed to be outside the normal uniform if we wore a shirt with the school name on it. The only one i had that was allowed was my PE shirt, so i just wore that cuz i wanted an excuse to wear jeans. Nothing really exciting happened here.
Tuesday: Mellow Yellow Day In the categoryof the most corny names ever, ding ding ding! we have a winner! 'Mellow Yellow'? Seriously, I want to know who comes up with that! Well, we could wear any shirt that had even the tiniest bit of yellow in it, so i wore this 4th of july shirt i had that had yellow fireworks on it since i own no yellow clothing. It said 'Celebrate Your Freedom' on it, and had a picture of a girl tying a boy to a giant rocket fireworks thing. lol. Skye was actually pretty interesting. In addition to wearing a yellow shirt, he also tied a yellow sheet around his neck like a cape. Oh how i wish i had a digital camera! There were also lemonaide making contest at lunch (insert anime sweatdrops here) but they skipped my lunch period. sad
Wedsnday: HALLOWEEN! Yes! I was a random female jonin from Naruto! Many people thought i was dressed up as Sasuke, but my idea which i expressed to each of them was this: in our society both men and women are equal. Girls can be doctors, athletes, etc. Therefore, i can dress up as a female ninja. razz This time I had a camera though so my real-life friends: i can send pics!!! Among my friends at school were: a witch, a beauty queen, napoleon dynamite, a girl crossdressing as spongebob, an emo-angel, a mermaid, a whopee cushion, a hippie, a spilt-second cameo guy whose only line is 'take out the trash!' (thats Skye for ya!), a sushi-maker person, and a highschool student. Yeah... the last guy was just lazy and didnt dress up. evil But i got lotsa candy! and there were costume contests at lunch, but once again they skipped my lunch period. sad
Thursday: Sports Team Day!I did not participate in this, and neither did most of my friends considering none of us are on sports teams, have ever been on sports teams, or are avid fans of sports teams. Yeah... most of us are in drama club, debate team, math team (me!), treehuggers, chapel praise team, or band... Anyway I pretty much think this day sucked.
Friday: Class Color Day!Green. eh, not bad for a class color. however seniors are pink so i cant help but laugh. I wore a green blouse, skirt, sneakers, and i tied green ribbons in my hair, to my bag, and to my pikachu plushie (dont ask). There was another contest during lunch, but (you guessed it) they skipped my lunch period! what do people have against 7th period lunch anyway?! For our end of spirit week assembly we had a special treat: boy cheeleaders. our 9th grade team had about 6 of them, and they did a few cartwheels. bo-ring. The sophmores had about 8 or 10 and did cart wheels and flips in mid air. AND THEY HAD MUSIC. eek the juniors got in trouble for not wearing shirts and dragging dummies dress as 9th 10th and 12th graders across the gym floor before shreading them into pieces, but their routine was good, involving flips in midair, spilts and cartwheels. the senior boys breakdanced and stuff mostly... but i think the sophmores had the best routine. oh, and the volley ball team made a video of the team which they showed, and during the end credits all the boy cheerleaders got up and got on the floor and started to dance. except of course, the freshmen team. why? personally i think they have no guts. But someone who was sitting near the gym floor did get up and start dancing. *cough* MATT *cough*... man i wish i had a camera that day! gonk
Afterschool Friday Well my friend, um... ynitsed is part of his username, so lets go with that, took me and Skye to this student center place in one of the buildings. IT WAS AWESOME! ynitsed gave us the grand tour! some of the rooms arent being used, but he has one whole room to himself! it kinda small with no windows, a desk, 3 chairs, and a few posters, but its stil pretty cool. 3nodding There's also this kitchen area with a microwave and refrigerator, and he sowed us this bottle of red fluid for juice or something that if you just drink 1 or 2 plain cups of, it is guranteed to give you SOMETHING that can get you out of class and to the health room. theres also a whole bunch of rooms with empty filing cabinets, a wall that you are allowed to draw on (cool!), and the ladies that run the place are super nice! they gave us carrot cake! :3 i'm so glad i skipped math team to go there! (shhh! dont tell 'kay?) wink
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, thats it for 4.1! part 2 will be up soon! hope you enjoyed it! seeya!
