●●●●●☆ Where'd The Time Go?
Seriously.
Well, I've been busy in real life, which is why I haven't updated my journal or profile or whatever.
But now I'm on break, so I think I'll just write something real quick to update. c:
Firstly, I DID create a club, the "Asian Pop-Culture Club" APCC at school, and I'm co-president along with one of my other friends. c: We're fairly successful, and hopefully we can have more events next semester.
Our math team is in third place for both varsity and JV so far, which is pretty good. I enjoyed all my classes, but I need to buckle down on doing college stuff...
This past semester I've improved my painting skills, started work on the Math Team scrapbook, and learned to play DnD from my Fantasy Literature teacher. <3 I'm supeeeeer in love with it and bought myself a set of dice! I'm sad I won't have Fantasy Lit anymore, but I do have friends who like to play, so we're probably gonna try and organize a group sometime. c:
Sadly I can't find a beginner's guide ANYWHERE, so I'm trying to learn more from the bits and pieces I'm finding online... I need to figure out how to be a successful dungeon master for when my friends and I play... It's kind of hard though, because EVERY WEBSITE is telling me to buy bunches of books I have no money for, and that aren't meant for beginners >_>;;
Still, I'm enjoying it. ^_^
I also got into two series thanks to my Fantasy Lit teacher: the Xanth series by Piers Anthony, and The Legend of Drizzt by R.A. Salvatore! So far I've got the first 4 books for Drizzt, but I'm having a hard time finding the second book for Xanth. >_<
Hopefully someone will give me a Borders card for Christmas so I can get more books. ^_^
I'm such a nerd. XD
