●●●●●☆ Today is my gaiaversary!
So I didn't realize it until I randomly saw it typed out in an old record, but today was my fourth gaiaversary! I suppose I should feel "l33t" or something. XD I really don't, though. I hardly ever feel like I'm super elite or anything, even if I'm waaay older of a member than someone else on the site I'm talking to. I guess it's just my personality not to feel that way because no matter what I still feel like I have so much stuff to learn about the site since it's always changing.
Oh well, anyway, happy gaiaversary to myself! c:

I've made a total of four pairs of earrings that will be going on sale in my dad's store within the next couple of days. I'll post a link here when they're up, but for now here's a quick preview of what will be there.
First, I made a pair of black butterfly dangly earrings with small butterfly cutouts from a Coke Zero can and broken chain. Very cute and punk-ish at the same time, these will be priced at about 6 dollars.
Next, my Aloha Iced Tea can collection. All of these earrings are double-sided so they're a bit more pricey, but on the plus side, there's color on both sides! ^_^ The triple dangly pair is 10 dollars and the other three pairs "Lemon", "Natural", and "Blue" are double dangles that cost 8 dollars each.
Due to having to pay for the materials, listing them, and considering my dad buys me deviantart subscriptions, I only make half of the profit from these earrings.
But that means if I sell all five pairs I make a total of 20 dollars! c: And that would REALLY help me out with my ever-expanding wishlist, the money I need for DC, and the money I need to go on dates. <3
●●●●●☆ I'm so nervous about Chance...
I've made it into the third round, but I'm not sure if I'm going to last past this round into the real thing. It would be nice if I could, but honestly I'm not that sure considering all of the fierce competition out there this time.
But wish me luck! Because I'm just trying my hardest and hoping for the best!
●●●●●☆ My updated wishlist...
Considering what a flighty person I am, it's no wonder that this has changed since the last time I posted it. Well, some of the things I'm looking into buying are more of "needs" rather than "wants".
New Hair Clip! Emergency! - For those of you who don't know me irl, my hair is super strong and pretty thick. I had a trusty hair clip I've used the past two years that finally broke, and I don't know if I'll be able to fix it. Honestly, I love the thing to death because it's the only clip I'd ever been able to find that was strong and sturdy enough to hold all of my hair into place. Thus I need a new one BADLY. The replacement I'm using at the moment is OKAY, but it's not as good as my old one. I can't pin my hair into a bun with this one like I could with my old one. D:
The Girly Stuff I'm Interested In- For this stuff, I'm just going to buy whatever is on sale at the moment considering the prices at the Body Shop. >_> Because I really can't afford to use this stuff at normal price.
- Blue Corn 3 in 1 Cleansing Mask ($16.50)
(This is supposed to be good for the summer because it's cool and refreshing, but it's not supposed to last very long so I am definitely ONLY buying this if it's on sale)
- Seaweed Clarifying Night Treatment ($20.00)
(What's scaring me a little is online reviews either say this is really good or really bad. However, I REALLY want a product I can use for the night, and this one seems pretty good. A lot of the good reviews say it clears the skin of oil without dehydrating it and it makes skin feel very clean, so I want to try it and see for myself! But the bad reviews still scare me so I'm going with something more mild before I get all adventurous. Plus this is pricey. D: )
- Vitamin E Skin Care Starter Kit ($25.00)
(Okay, hold on, I'm going to do a bit of math and then return... ...all right, according to the price the kit should cost considering the amount given and the cost of all the products on their own, this thing should only cost about 18 bucks. -_- RIP OFF. That means they're charging like, 7 bucks just for the reusable pouch. =_= Okay, so far I'm loving the stuff I bought from the Body Shop, but DANG if they don't try to rip your money every chance they get. Together the kit has Vitamin E Cream Cleanser, Hydrating Toner, Moisture Cream, and Night Cream. This is one of their best selling lines next to Tea Tree. It would probably be too expensive for me to buy the entire line. $60 total to be precise. =_= Well, I guess 7 bucks isn't too bad for the bag, but honestly, I'd only need and use one. So I suppose I'll try this kit... plus I like the fact it's actually designed as a travel kit so I could take it with me on the trip)
So in conclusion, top four things on my list atm:
- Vitamin E Skin Care Starter Kit ($25)
- Sunglasses (~$15)
- Jeans shorts (~$15 each x2 or x3)
- New hair clip (~$15)
= $85-100
Well, let's see how much I can make off these earrings... And doing other stuff...
Goal: 100 dollars by July
Current: 20 dollars (hopefully?)
(I'm not counting the money I already have saved up because I'm saving for my DC trip)
