This was a pretty good week. It felt productive. =3
Last Saturday, I had piano lessons and my teacher was helping me with Every Heart, which was pretty helpful.
*tries to recall what important things happened this week*
Ah. On Tuesday afternoon Mr. Barbour showed the first half of the extra credit movie To Live, which is about a Chinese family during the Chinese Civil War and after. It was SO GOOD!
Wednesday afternoon was supposed to be the second half of the movie, but Josh Gillman, a student, had heartfailure sometime on Tuesday while playing Frisbee so Mr. Barbour was unable to come due to Guidance I think? So I ended up going to Japanese cultural club. There, we were watching the second half of another sad movie called Nobody Knows. I think this one was Taiwanese, but it was also a sad family story.
I was doing Chem homework all the while, although I didn't get very far. xD
And then me, Yuna, Catherine, and Victory went to the music room to see the auditions for the Spring musical. Yuna was very indecisive about auditioning, and she didn't in the end. Also, Victory took me and Yuna into the back of Mr. Rubensky's office (there is a secret door from room 334 into there!) and showed me how to pedal for the piano back there. I actually kind of get it now, although it is pretty tricky. =3
Okay, so on Thursday, we finished watching the movie with Mr. Barbour. The ending was great! T.T It's so sad that JiaZhen had to die though. And YouQing died earlier. What a sad family story...and still Fugui is hilarious!
Well, on Friday I had my Latin presentation on Roman Health. It actually went pretty well! It was funny how it starting raining like crazy when I started talking about how the sewers often didn't have enough rain to run. xD I thought people would find my presentation boring, but apparently they didn't so I'm happy. =3
Ah, I went to Lindah's house for the first time in forever on Friday too! We watch Cape Fear...O.o I think it was probably an 80s or 90s film, but it was kind of scary. What a psycopath that guy in the movie was...
Emran brought me sushi on Friday too, so yay. =3
And yesterday I had more piano lessons. I'm finally through with that book. My teacher says I went through it pretty fast, but I think I went through it pretty slow. T.T Oh well, guess I'll see what happens next week. Playing the piano makes me happy. =]
So, today! I HAVE FINISHED MY FOG ORCHESTRA FOR MY ALICE PROJECT 3! Now I have to add comments and redo the storyboard since I changed my topic completely. x_x
