Today was okay. It was the last day of work. We didn't really go to the pool since it was windy and rainy today, but it was okay. I was a little disappointed that Cory and Ayana didn't show up though. Only me, Samantha, Jonathan, Nathaniel and Matthew showed up. We just went to the Hunts Point Recreational Center and hung out inside/outside till Francisco and his group arrived. Jonathan was playing basketball with the people there, while me and Samantha were on the bleachers just listneing to music. She did ym nails purple, and I actually like it! =3 Perhaps, I will stop chewing my nails. xD It was actually a problem today because I scratched off some nail pollish with my teeth by accident. o.o
Anyway, I was pretty much there the whole time for work, so I went out and just called a bunch of people and talked to them on the swings and just loitering around the park.
The weird thing was that this random guy, Jovani, was hitting on me when I was outside about to call Karen. Not a pleasant experience. D: I don't want to be told that I'm sexy by people, nor do I want to go out with strangers. T.T Although I like meeting strangers. I thought he wanted to be friends at first...but, eh...killed my mood. Which is why I went to Barnes and Nobles after with Esther. =3
Oh I did meet this other guy there who was nice though. I just asked Samantha on aim what his name was since I forgot to ask. xD Kendric. He's so funny. xDD Especially with Samantha. =3 He kept calling her white, and to be honest, when I first met her I did think she was white. xD It was funny when I was asking him if he knew where the 6 train was and he just said yes, and then Samantha was like yeah, she really cares that you know where it is, of course she wants you to tell her. xD So he showed me, but I didn't get it, so he wrote it down. And someway or another, I ended up at the wrong place. xD I walked the way he said, but I never saw the gas station he mentioned, and I ended up at the 2/5 train station at Simpson instead of the 6 train station at Hunts Point. o.o The 5 was faster anyway though, so I got lucky. =3
Actually, the minute I got to Barnes and Nobles, I met Esther right at the door. =3 Which was convenient.
We went around Barnes and Nobles for a while and checked out the Bargain Sales section. I found a book of Frog proverbs and quotes!
And then I got hungry so I bought rice and chicken with white sauce (like that one time near school) from the cart in front of B&N. It was good, but there was A LOT. And as it turned out later from the leaking, there was a lot of grease. o.o
Esther showed me this book store that was really awesome on 12th street and Broadway that was like right where the Regal theater was. =3 It was awesome! Well perhaps not lookwise compared to B&N but there were $1 books! And even 48cent books! To think, I go to Barnes abd Nobles and get 3 or 4 books for $80-$100, and here I got 4 books for $10. o.o
I'm glad I got to hang out with Esther today, though nexttime I hope Jina can come! She pepped up my dull mood. =]
Oh yeah, at Hunts Point, I saw this fly on the upper floor by the window. It was upside down and seemed to be buzzing and hopping up and down but not actually getting up or flying around. I wonder what was wrong with it? Perhaps I should have just picked it up and turned it over, if it was a matter of being upside down that is... =[
Also, the basketball game between Nelly and Catherine vs this guy from Hunts Point was so funny! xD They kept tripping each other and attacking each other, it was hilarious. Nelly sure is good at basketball though. =3 I think she could have taken that guy by herself, not that Catherine isn't alright. She certainly is violent though. o.o Catherine was like tackling the dude and husting for the ball. xDD
Mm, well overall, today was nice. Although, I didn't really get a chance to say bye to anyone except Samantha. Or not even, 'cause I kind of just walked away from her and Kendric when I was going towards the train station. xD Since she was taking the bus.
I'll probably see Samantha again since we're likely to hang out, but I doubt I'll ever see Valorie or Jonathan or Nathaniel or Matthew again. Though, to be honest, I don't care. I really wouldn't know how it feels to miss someone. v_v Hm. Although, of course, they were nice people and it was fun while it lasted. I suppose.
Well. Darn! It's 8/14 now! I waited too long. xD It's 12:03AM. Well, just to confirm. Today, THURSDAY, happened on 8/13! Not 14!
