Well, today, I was bored in school, so I thought about other things. I don't know why but my thoughts ended up on new years resolutions. I didn't make any because, while I was thinking, I came up with this question: Why should I change to fit the needs of society? Why shoud I change to please others? I'm perfect the way I am and I am satisfied with myself. I think that new years resolutions are stupid and pointless because of this reason. What so people expect me to do? I'm not gonna change just because some person came up with some random idea that people should change themselves on new years because it's a "new beginning." What makes them think that just because it's a new year, I'm gonna go to the trouble of changing my lifestyle just because of some idiot? ******** no! Why would anyone do that? I know it's a tradition, but it is one that I will no longer follow. It's too stupid.
Rant #2:
Racism. There is some weird racist thing at my school. Today I was thinking (as I said before) and realized, that the our school is somewhat racist. In our musicals, there is one or two black people in them. A WHOLE lot of black kids tried out and were good, but mostly white kids made it. Some of the white kids that made it were worse than the some of the black kids who tried out and didn't make it. Does that not seem racist to you. The same thing happoned last year. There is another racist thing at my school. Too many white kids overuse the word ****** or ***** as the perfer to pronounce it. Its WAY wrong to say that in front of a black person. That's like stepping on a gangser's shoe, or a cowboy's boot. (yes, if you step on a cowboy's boot, they will shoot you.) Any black person who doesn't have a problem with a white person using the "n" word, they're crazy! It's so disrespectful. It's not funny, and nobody thinks it's cool. You're gonna get beat up so don't even bother saying the word. It will only cause trouble.
