Good Morning,

Feeling odd after the day off. It's never all that satisfying when you don't have consecutive days off. I really wish most of the United States went to a 4 day work week or 6hrs a day with pay to compensate for the time taken out. No sense in us working 8-9 hour days when not much is getting done. Especially working in tech from home. Most people are at their most productive for 6hours or less.

Those extra 2 - 3 hours shouldn't make a difference. Most of the time, it's wasted on a break. Honestly, if we worked 6hours, I likely would only take two 15mins and be perfectly fine. Those extra couple hours could make all the difference in comfort and being able to get stuff done at places that don't close at the same time. I hate having a 9-5 when everything closes at 5 / 6 in the afternoon.

All in all, I had a good time yesterday. Got a lot done. Pulled the trigger on the beginning of the media equipment gain. I got a mic and some decent audiophile headphones. Getting fruity loops from a friend. I'll have to find an audio recorder in the mean time. I'll also need some sound proof panels for when I'm recording. Should be fun. This journal is coming along nicely as well. Glad to be able to make this apart of my daily routine. heart

ninja Wondering what I can do to be productive today. I've already received the mic but no headphones. Kind of want for all of it to arrive first before setting it up but might not. That way I won't have to learn all of it at once and can integrate it slowly as it arrives. Now that I'm typing it out, that will be the plan. I'll set it up during my lunch break.
