Just spent a ton of money because I got my bonus from work today. Got all the upgraded parts for my PC. All because the tariffs are expected to really drive up the prices between China and the states. Just glad I was able to take advantage of a lot of the holiday deals when bulk purchasing. Now I just need the Sony A7lll and I'll be set on technology stuff for the next 5-6 years at this point. Calling them business expenses because all of this stuff is going to benefit me in the long run. Just glad this bonus is able to help pad my savings. Wasn't even aware it was going to be coming in until a co worker brought it up. I'm also paid up on bills so my entire next check will be able to go to my savings and to grab the last of the gear I need besides the camera. Gotta get the noise cancelling pads for my room and figure out how I want to configure all this stuff to fit well. Likely will have to get a new desk and save some room for future furniture since I need to upgrade to a queen mattress and an L desk to fit more monitors and save on space since my work desk and my personal are separated by two tiny desks at the moment. It is very unfortunate but I'm determined to turn my bedroom into the best office / media studio / bedroom possible whilst also keeping it minimalist. A grand challenge no doubt.
